Correction detail

This detail is aimed at more severely damaged paintwork. With heavy swirls marks, bird etchings, oxidation, scratches etc. If you are looking to have your car resprayed becuase of a poor finish or tired looking paint sometimes a detail of this nature can save a vehicles paintwork. This detail will take longer, at least a couple of days.


  • Multi-stage wash process including wheel arches, door shuts, badges and lower half of vehicle treated to a citrus degreaser
  • Paintwork treated to a thick layer of foam to help loosen dirt
  • Wheels cleaned using non-acidic wheel cleaner an various brushes
  • Vehicle hand dried using deep pile, plush micro-fibre towels
  • Paintwork fully decontaminated using clay bar
  • Paintwork readings are then taken
  • 2-4 stage paintwork correction process is then carried out to safely remove as much defects as possible, depending on paints readings and examination. (usually removing between 2-5 microns, although may vary)
  • Paintwork checked under inspection light
  • Pre wax cleanser applied
  • Sealant/Carnauba wax is then applied to all paintwork including door shuts
  • Tyres conditioned and wheels sealed
  • All exterior plastics conditioned
  • Glass cleaned inside and out
  • All exterior glass is treated to rain repellent sealant
  • Exhaust tips and chrome polished and sealed where possible
  • Interior detailed
  • Paintwork is finally given a final wipe down with a gloss enhancing spray
