FAQ

What is detailing?
Detailing is a highly intense and skilled thorough process of rejuvenating your vehicles surfaces to the best possible condition. Using only the finest products available your car can look better than when it was first in the showroom.

What is paint correction?
Paint correction is the main process associated with detailing. It’s the removal of paint defects such as scratches, swirl marks, buffer marks cob webbing, orange peel, oxidation and holograms. This is done by using specialist polishing pads and polishes and safely removing a small amount of microns (2-4 normally). This helps light to reflect perfectly, creating a Mirror Finish

Why is detailing so expensive?
Detailing is more expensive than your average drive through car wash or hand wash centre. The problems with these are that due to im-proper wash techniques and dirty equipment, you car will more than liely suffer from swirl marks and scratches that appear under light. But with detailing the main concern is your vehicles paintwork, not the speed of the job. It is also not that expensive compared to what most main dealerships charge for servicing and the level of care and results with your vehicle are in no way comprimised. Having your vehicle detailed will mean its in the best possible condition. Thus sometimes increasing value and as your car is probably the biggest investment you will make after your home this is a safe way of looking after your vehicle. It also makes it a lot easier to wash once detailed.

What is carnauba wax?
Carnauba wax is a wax taken from palm trees in South America. It’s the hardest wax known to man and is extremely tough against strong elements like heat, UV rays and rain. It is hydro-phobic, so when water comes into contact with it, it’s pores tighten up making the water bead. The water then simply runs off the paintwork. It also leaves you with unrivalled deep, glossy wet looking natural shine.
